Honey in 'French Porcelain of the 18th century', where he noted that the painting was unlike any usually attributed to Mennecy, and where he captioned it as 'Mennecy (?)'; examined by Jean-Gabriel Peyre 1999, who considered the attribution to Mennecy correct. |
