| Object history | The factory was established by Christophe Dihl (a modeller) and Antoine Guéhard (a burgher of Paris) and his wife, Louise Françoise Madeleine Croizé in 1781 at the Rue de Bondy. The factory moved to premises at the junction of Rue du Temple and Rue Meslée in 1789. |
