From a model by Paul-Louis Cyfflé (1704-1806). B9, where the V&A example is dated to c. 1768-77 (Aileen Dawson, French Porcelain: A Catalogue of the British Museum Collection, 1994, p. 254, gives c.1765-89 as the probable production dates).
