Lobed vase, soft-paste porcelain, tin-glazed and painted in enamels. Kakiemon style with trees, blossom and plant sprays (asymmetric on one side, and, unusually, symmetrically on the other). The lobed rim has been broken and repaired with a gilt-bronze mount, and a gilt-bronze foot was added at the same time to balance.
