Production | about 1770 or possibly 19th century; Acquired as 'possibly a specimen of the hard-paste made at Vincennes, 1765-88'; relabelled as 'factory unknown, c. 1770' and as 'perhaps Sceaux, c. 1775'; examined by members of FPS in 1994, when it was considered 'possibly Locré factory, Paris, c. 1771'; examined again by FPS when Errol Manners suggested it was possibly a Samson production and that examination under UV light might confirm this. |
