Production
Acquired as French, second half of the 18th century. Note in register: 'On the evidence of the colour and style of flower painting on several pieces as the exhibition of French faience in Paris in 1932, this should be ascribed to Fauchier of Marseilles'. Illustrated as Fauchier factory, c. 1750 in Arthur Lane, French Faïence, 1948, pl. 50A.
