This Christmas cracker label by Batger’s & Co is probably from about 1930. The Museum’s collection includes a series of cracker labels by Batger’s & Co, established in 1748. This label is an interesting example of packaging design, combining the Christmas theme with a reference to express trains – a glimpse into the social history of the period before mass air travel.
