Sharon Ting studied painted textiles at West Surrey College of Art and Design in Farnham from 1987-1990, and the Royal College of Art. In November 1992 Ting established her work workshop in which she creates designs for industrial production alongside a craft-based collection of wall hangings and fashion accessories.

Sharon Ting is one of Britain's leading textile designers noted for her abstract and geometric designs with strong elements of colour and texture. She designs and makes all her work using a hand-printed devoré technique for both dress and furnishing textiles. |
