Character doll, Blueberry Muffin, with large reverse socket head, snub nose and painted facial features. Its blue rooted saran hair is caught in two bunches with elastic and ribbon. It has a smaller scale body with straight legs and arms, curled hands with separate thumbs, left hand little finger points out, flat larger feet. it is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. The doll is blueberry scented.

On its head the doll wears a sunbonnet with high crown and frilled brim made from bluish lavender soft vinyl, attached to left side is an embroidered dark blue and green berry. It is held in place with a very narrow mauve ribbon, looped through the hat and tied under the doll's chin. In its hair are two similar ribbons, each around one of the hair bunches. A pale blue cotton with the sleeves of cotton printed with a two tone blue diamond pattern back fastening with a press stud. A pair of green and white striped nylon tights with elasticated waist. A pair of dark blue vinyl plastic shoes, moulded to show straps, round toed and bulbous, with holes in the soles. There is also a red plastic comb moulded with a strawberry design on the handle.

With the doll is its packaging, consisting of a window box of card, printed in colours on pale blue, to show the title, maker's details and trademarks and illustrations of the doll and berries, other dolls and equipment are shown on the sides. The internal packaging is card, printed in dark blue and folded to shape to support the doll.

There is also a 'thank you' card printed in colours to show a selection of doll characters together, contained in a plain white envelope. The card has two folds making three sides, the back is printed to show a doll on a strawberry.

There is a seven-page booklet, printed in colours to show photographs of the range of Strawberry Shortcake dolls and toys, together with details about ordering special offers.

Finally, there is a white paper packing slip, printed in black.
