Historical context | These samples are from the Kelmscott Collection by Osborne & Little, who are part of the Liberty Textiles Group. The design has been derived from early embroideries by William Morris, in particular 'Daisy' which was completed in the 1860s by his wife, Jane Morris. Reproductions of Morris textile designs have been manufactured since the 1950s, and these samples are recent examples of this trend. |
