Historical context
These samples are from the Kelmscott range by Osborne & Little who are part of the Liberty Textile Group. The pattern entitled 'Granada' was designed by William Morris in 1864 and was made of velvet brocaded with gilt thread. Reproductions of Morris textile designs have been taking place since the 1950s, and these are the most recent examples of this trend.
