Object history
This costume was designed by Philip Prowse, and worn by Nicola Pagett for her appearance as Nora Lambert in the play "The Boston Story" at the Duchess Theatre, London, 19th September 1968. The play was written by Ronald Gow after Henry James, and directed by Malcolm Farquhar. The sets were designed by Geoffrey Scott.

Given to the British Theatre Museum Association by Messrs Sherwood Reid in May 1969.
