Furnishing fabric of two colour block printed cotton and linen. It has a natural ground printed in madder red with a bold drop repeat of a white sailor dancing with a turbanned mulatoo girl, whilst to the left a black man is playing an accordian. These figures flank a half rigged sailing ship anchored in the middle distant. This Caribbean scene is enclosed by a heavy framework of large banana or plantain leaves and bamboo stems.

Physical description
Furnishing fabric of two colour block printed cotton and linen. It has a natural ground printed in madder red with a bold drop repeat of a white sailor dancing with a turbanned mulatoo girl, whilst to the left a black man is playing an accordian. These figures flank a half rigged sailing ship anchored in the middle distant. This Caribbean scene is enclosed by a heavy framework of large banana or plantain leaves and bamboo stems.
