Hemi-spherical bowl on high foot-ring (diameter 14.1 cm, height 16.5 cm); the exterior painted in blue enamel and gold with abstracted floral pattern, and with border of leaves and dots in blue and pink enamel ringed in blue; the rim and foot-ring are ringed in gold (the former now rubbed).
The base has the printed factory mark in iron red of the imperial eagle (indicating the imperial warrant) above the St George and the dragon (for Moscow), the latter contained within an oval band with the factory name and Moscow in Cyrillic, which in turn is above an inscription in Arabic. Condition: gilding now rubbed
