Hemi-spherical bowl on a tall foot-ring (diameter 7.2 cm, height 7.1 cm); the exterior painted with alternating panels of swags and octagons, the former painted in gold lustre and in green, puce and brown enamels, the latter painted in puce enamel and with a device of a column with ribbons in reserve (scraped away before firing); the exterior rim and foot-ring are banded in gold, and the interior is painted in gold lustre with a band of stylised leaves and the centre with a rosette.
Unmarked. Condition: gilding worn, some scratching to glaze on interior of bowl.
