This wax bust and mould represents the Duchess of Gloucester (b. 1776; d. 1857) as a child. It is signed and modelled by Hart, a wax modeller so far not indentified. At the back is says, 'Mary, fourth daughter of George III, born 25. April 1776. Modelled by Hart'.
