This type of panorama would have appealed far more to adults than to children. The design is a good one in that it keeps the panorama secure and undamaged. This one was badly cut from a larger sheet, because the names of the gentlemen featured have been cut from the top. Showing at the bottom are names of places that obviously belong to a different panorama.

Physical description | Wooden cylindrical box covered with lithographed paper, illustrated with two columns printed with various virtues and festooned with garlands of flowers and leaves. There are also books, musical instruments, a mask and sheets of music and the illustration is signed and dated 1822. A long narrow slit runs down the length of the cylinder out of which can be pulled a long piece of paper upon which are hand coloured drawings of men. |
