Chunghi Choo’s work is simple and sensuous and is designed to be both a pleasure to use and view. Decanter is made from silver-plated electroformed copper. The graceful curves recall silver in its molten form and make it appealingly tactile. Choo was born in Korea and studied at the Ewha Women's University, Seoul before joining the Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan where she studied metalsmithing, ceramics and weaving.
