Silver, compressed spherical body, domed lid with cast acorn finial. Curving spout with applied acanthus terminal. Carved ivory handle with scrolling thumbpiece set into acanthus foliage at the junction with the shoulder; moulded foot rim. The base stamped with the patent number 132 and inscribed Storr and Mortimer. A peacock crest is engraved on one side of the body.

Physical description
