From a tea service. The body is fluted with twenty chased panels of two alternating designs; one consisting of lozenge and pellet decoration with a single stylised flower where the body begins its outward curve; the other consisting of stylised acanthus motifs and an elongated lozenge and pellet design terminating in a shell at the moulded rim. The lid is fluted and chased with pellet decoration. The cast spout has matted panels some of which contain shell and floral motifs. The handle and finial are ivory.
