The reverse shows the enthroned figure of Christ, crowned with thorns, holding orb and sceptre and the inscription:
'.IHESVS.CHRISTVS.AIN.KYNIG.IN.HIMEL.VND.DER.ERDEN.1550'

The medal has a suspension ring.
