This is a brass medal made in Germany by the Master of the Arco Medal in about 1550-1580. The obverse of this medal shows a half-length portrait of a young woman facing right in wreathed border. The reverse shows coat of arms supported by two wigned sirens with fish-tails. There are two lions' heads at the top. The arms on the reverse identify the sitter as a member of the Arco family.
