Object history | This is one of a set of teapots (C.10 to 22-1990) reproduced by the Franklin Mint after examples in the V&A's collections and marketed as the Victoria and Albert Museum Porcelain Teapot Collection. This teapot is copied from a Höchst teapot of about 1765, C.68-1909. An explanatory collectors' card is in the Object Information file, together with an account of the Franklin Mint's marketing strategy. For the display cabinet see C.21-1990. |
