Object history
One of 372 assorted prints from a mid-19th century scrapbook, mainly taken from 1100s-1400s manuscripts. Described in original register as "A collection of coloured prints, woodcuts, etc from manuscripts of 12th-15th centuries. Stained Glass, Ancient Wall Paintings, Sculpture etc. For Glass painters, Ecclesiastical Decorators and others."

Note: E.1259, 1260. These two separate books were subsequently broken up and the contents consisting of 815 prints, drawings and photographs were sorted together, classified, and re-numbered as follows: E.1259.1-390; E.1260.1-425.
