The medal depicts on the obverse Otto Heinrich, who was an important patron of the arts and architecture. On the reverse is his brother, Philip. The two brothers ruled Bavaria jointly until 1548.
The sculptor and medallist Hans was son of Adolf Daucher. He was the finest sculptor in Augsburg during the 1520s.
