Double miquelet lock mechanism for a gun, for firing two superimposed charges. The mainsprings and steel-springs are shaped like grotesque figures and provided with chiselled bridles, the cocks chiselled with human figures. The top-jaw screw heads are of loop form. The rear tip of the lock is wrought in high relief with a grotesque mask.
