The dealer John Webb was instrumental in acquiring pieces for the Museum. The Museum paid £46 for this mazer.

Double mazer of masur birch with silver mounts made in two hemispherical parts. Cast eagle feet and scroll handle, IHS enamelled in the centre of the cover.
