This pull along horse and rider toy is made from painted and varnished wood.It consists of a white horse with black dappled markings, and black mane and tail on a rectangular varnished base with four wheels stained red. The soldier mount consists of head and torso only and wears a red jacket with four yellow buttons and a black bearskin. He has a pink face with painted features. The rider is fixed to the horse by means of a long wooden screw extending through the horse's body and through the flat base where there is a square blue bolt on the underside. The toy is pulled by a length of yellow plastic cord. It is contained in a cardboad box with a painted illustration of the toy with details about it in French, German and English
