Engraving of a botanical illustration of amaryllis belladonna (Jersey lily), depicting a brown stalk with stems of mutiple flowers at the top. The flowers are tubular in shape, splaying at the ends, and are white and pink in colour, with yellow stamen in the centre. There is another depiction showing the brown bulb of the plant, with roots growing underneath it, and long, thin green leaves growing from the top. In the bottom right corner there is a section of the bulb, as well as depictions of sections of the seed pods. On the left there are depictions of the various parts of the flower of the plant.
