Engraving of a botanical illustration of euphorbia lathyris (caper spurge), depicting a branch with green leaves and a yellow stripe down the centre, and stems with different green leaves and small flowers. The flowers are small, growing from in the middle of two leaves, and yellow in colour. At the bottom of the sheet there are several drawings showing the various parts of the flowers, including sections of the seed pods.
