Place of origin

A clockwork car of all metal construction, painted red, with a clockwork mechanism contained in the body. The car has three metal wheels and one rubber edged metal drive wheel. At the centre of the base, set across the car, is the wheel which alters the direction of travel. The car does not ride on the two front wheels but in the nose panel which is lower than the rest of the car. As this nose panel drops over the dge of the running surface the mechanism stops and the centre wheel changes the direction of the car (always to the left).
