Mechanical figures of two clowns dancing containing a clockwork mechanism. Both clowns are dressed in pink felt jackets and black and white checked trousers. The large clown has orange wool hair and a black felt circle stuck to his head. The smaller clown is of moulded celluloid which has been painted. When wound up, the large clown lifts and lowers the smaller clown as they move on the table surface.
