The crane is of lithographed metal showing a waterfront crane, with rail tracks, aboat on each side, ladders and a male figure. At one end is the crane which turns around and the neck, controlled by two levers at the other end, can be lowered or lifted. The parts are linked by tongue and slot; grey, black, red and blue.The crate/flat plate is red and blue metal with arms which hook over the anchor shaped hook on the crane arm. The box lid is of painted cardboard, showing an illustration of the toy, the title and the maker's marks.
