A small tinplate toy representing a scissor grinder. The man holds the scissors to the grinder and his foot pumps up and down, turning a large wheel.The key and spring mechanism are to his right. The grinding wheel is wooden and the bench is painted to look like wood. The man is painted with black hair and moustache, green cap, trousers and jacket. The trousers are striped.
