This pair of riding gloves is from an important collection of riding outfits and accessories previously in Castle Howard, Yorkshire. The collection also includes a blue woollen jacket, an apron skirt, breeches, a black bowler riding hat, boots, cravats and various accessories. These are all items a fashionable woman would have worn in the 1920s for riding.

Physical description
Pair of long cream kid leather evening gloves. They are fastened at the wrist with four mother of pearl buttons and each glove has one button missing. Each glove is made of two pieces joined at the elbow with a zig-zag seam
