Tie
1992 (made)
Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
The 'yuppies' (young upwardly mobile professionals) of the 1980s created a market for designer ties. The manufacturer made this tie from the finest materials (woven silk) and in traditional tie colours of red and blue. However, a whimsical bee pattern within a chequer-board design lightens the conservative style.
