Object history | This design was exhibited by R. Atkinson & Co. in the 1851 Great Exhibition (Class XV, No. 256) in blue and gold. It is engraved in 'The Illustrated Inventor', 31 October 1857, as a product of the Dublin School of Design, on the committee of which Mr Atkinson, 'Her Majesty's Poplin Manufacturer', offered premiums for designs. |
