Place of origin |
Furnishing fabric, printed rayon satin. Printed selvedge to selvedge with a pattern in brown, pale yellow and light blue. The repeating pattern consists of a strong vertical brown line to the right of which is a light blue 'thumb print' and to the right of this is a pale yellow flower with brown outline and stem. Below these three elements is a pair of horizontal lines, bending slightly to the right. The relative position of the four elements changes randomly, suggesting that the textile was block-printed.
Hemmed top and bottom.
