Globe-shaped, with one segment cut out, blue over red, with sand blasted irregular lines on the outside.

Glass, Swedish over-lay technique; two bowls blown in red and blue glass, each covered with clear glass, fused rim to rim, the blue bowl then pulled over the outside of the red bowl. Blown to size. All blowing done by Stephen Gillies. The segment cut and removed (in Stourbridge), then returned to Rosedale for the sand-blasting by Kate Jones. Glass sprayed with 'Armourall' to protect the sandblasted areas.
