Oil painting of Herbert Beerbohm Tree as Mark Antony in Julius Caesar. The body of Caesar lies on a bier in the foreground, wrapped in a purple cloth. Mark Antony, dressed in a dull red toga, stands behind the corpse, in front of a cream-coloured wall. Antony's head is turned towards the viewer's left. He holds the edge of the purple cloth as if he has just pulled it back to reveal Caesar's face. Signed.
