| Object history | Believed to have been collected by the donor's father during his service in Burma in the second half of the 1930's. Historical significance: The white ikat streak patterns closely resemble the Karen "python skin" woven into 19th century Karen women's tribal skirts. (See Karen Skirt 7281 IS) |
