The Teletubbies was a very popular pre-school TV programme that was first aired on CBBC in 1996. The Characters Tinky Winky, Laa-Laa, Dipsy and Po appeared on all sorts of merchandising and have sold well, in Christmas of 1996 all the figures sold out of the shops as their demand was so high.
