Red or Dead have received widespread acclaim for their novel and inventive fashion footwear. They promoted Doctor Martens work boots and shoes as high style. These summery mules wittily reflect 1940s resort accessories of the type favoured by such glamourous Hollywood film stars as Betty Grable and Carmen Miranda.(1997)
