Transferred from the India Museum in 1879
Object history
Acquired by the India Museum from the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1867 where it was said to have been from Bhuj (Bhooj in Victorian spelling) and transferred to the South Kensington Museum in 1879. Displayed in Exhibition Road Indian Museum galleries until 1955, then in storage in case F.715
