Red wool jacket and trousers.
Gallery label
Made in a brillant red inspired by hunting 'pink', this suit was part of Viviene westwood's 'Dressing Up' collection. It consists of a velvet trimmed, single-breasted cropped jacket and straight-cut trousers. The blouse features a jabot, a decorative device worn by men in the 17th century which became fashionable for women in the 1870s and 1880s.(1997)
