The jacket is in the elite New Edwardian revival style of the 1950s. It is long, slightly waisted and the sleeves have turnback cuffs. The distinguished dress historian Geoffrey Squire teamed it with a round-collared shirt, narrow knitted tie and slim-cut, flat-fronted trousers to create a highly individual look.
