Representation of the Buddha, who gazes downwards, and is seated in the bhumisparsa-padmasana mudra (earth-touching or witness gesture seated in the lotus position) on a low waisted pedestal. His left hand rests upturned on his lap. Depicted in monastic robes which leaves his right should bare. It falls in folds down the front and has raised beaded decoration on the edges. His curly hair, decorated with a fillet across the brow, rises to an ushnisha (top knot).
