Juergen Teller (b.1964)
From the series Go-Sees
SHOWstudio Portfolio
2001
Juergen Teller has been called ‘a diarist recording the lives of those he works and lives with’. His project Go-Sees spanned nearly a year. With an approach he describes as ‘democratic’, he photographed every wannabe model that was sent to his studio by model agencies. All are framed by the studio doorway and look variously nervous, fragile, confident and glamorous.
