Georg Lichtensteger sculpsit 2 Neue und wohl façonirte Garten Plumpe, mit einem hangenden Schwengel, wobey der Stengel der blühenden Yuckij, der die Stangen vorstellet, die nach denen Stiffeln gehen, oben mit einer eisernern Charniere versehen, und der krumme Theil den Hebel ausmachet, und gar füglich zu practiciren stehet. Cum Pr. Sac. Cæs. Maj. Hæred. Ier. Wolffij exc. Aug. V.
Translation
New and well fasioned garden pump, with a hanging handle, on which the stem of the flowering Yucca, that suggest the rods that follow their [?], fitted with an iron hinge at the top, the bent part of which constitutes the lever, and stands quite conveniently for use.
Object history
The V&A holds this suite as published by Johann Balthasar Probst. It was originally published by Jeremias Wolff, before 1724.
