Depicts two men operating a pump with a sundial on its face.

Ioh. Iacob Schübler inv. et del. Georg Lichtensteger sculpsit 3 Ein Cylinder=förmige Figur einer bequemen Wasser Plumpe, mit zwey gegen einander gehenden Stoss Hebeln, welche zugleich als eine zierliche Sonnen Uhr dienet, und auf offenen Plätzen doppelte dienste leisten kan. Cum Pr. Sac. Cæs. Maj. Hæred. Ier. Wolffij exc. Aug. V.
Translation
A cylindrical form of a convenient water pump, with two opposing push levers, which also serves as a delicate sundial, and can serve double duties in public places.
Object history
The V&A holds this suite as published by Johann Balthasar Probst. It was originally published by Jeremias Wolff, before 1724.
